During the Mid-1960’s, my Little Sister Mary had to wear a leg-brace-contraption as a young girl due to a scoliosis of her lower spine. Those braces she was fortunate to ONLY have to wear at bedtime, YET i REMEMBER THEM as being very ‘ungainly and unsightly’; a big Rube Goldberg-ian sort of braced-cross-triangle thing that forced her legs in an opposite direction to her normal gait.

There were Times she awoke crying or went to bed crying from the discomfort…Her real pain was Palpable, Real and Tangible to me as her 3 Years, 10 Months, 15 Days, or

older brother, and, often, though i already understood by age Eleven that i could NOT take her place, i wished to gladly do so to passover, preclude, and prevent her further discomfort and pain.

Alas, her miss-alignment was re-aligned, through hers and Our Parents collective application of the braces, every Night, for what i re-call was Several Years…From when she was about Seven to Nine Years of Age. As The Twig Is Straightened, So Grows The Tree…

Then, one day, the brace diss-appeared, and Mary went on to run and play, eventually becoming a Thrice-Awarded Softball Player for Our High School, and even being voted Most Valuable Player, if memory serves me some Forty-Years Hence. And, Today, she has run innumerable races, raised three beauty-full Children with her hubby, and all on gams that are as straight as an arrow…Much Water Wears The Marble…

Lesson being…As we bend Our Conscious Mind and Will through Our Daily #MKMMA exercises, we are, with the Creator – God – Lord – Source – Universe’s Help – we are straightening Our External AND Internal Compass(es) so that they are aligned with Our Dharmic Purpose, Our True Why, Our Most True Nature, Our Golden Child…
